Hi All, I was after some advice please?
I have had a Tradewetrooms Tough-x wetroom proforma fitted and porcelain tiles fitted over. After using the shower the first time, I was left with a puddle on one side of the drain and it stays there permanently.
I called back the bathroom fitter, who fit...

Hi all,
Currently involved in a project renovating a holiday property where one of the rooms is to have a freestanding bath. I have been told that there is a requirement to have a small floor drain put in underneath the bath in the event of 'accidents'... bath overflowing or spilling out or...

I appear to have a leak in the bathroom floor. The room was created seven years ago to provide a wet shower area using an Impey aquadec former and the dry area to include Warmup UFH. The wet area is covered in 25 mm square mosaic.
A crack was discovered in one of the dry area tiles after about a...

Been seeing a few tilers posting wetrooms on twitter with no wall tanking. I've always tanked anything deemed to be a wet area, whether wall or floor, in a wetroom and wondering where the rest of you stand.
Twitter is a bit back slappy imo, with nobody telling anybody they're doing it wrong...

Hi all, first post so apologies if I don't get my questions quite right and ask too many; I am looking for some advice on a new shower enclosure project.

hi guys,
I would like to find out what's your opinion on wetroom installation. Do you think it's plumbing work or would you categories it as tiling job?
I'm sorry if that's been asked already.
Regards
Ron

I'm so confused!
I need to choose some tiles for an en suite - the same for the walls and floor. The walk-in shower will be at one end with a partial glass screen but no divide on the floor or tray so (I've been told) it's a wetroom.
There's lots of advice I've been given but don't know...
hi
I want to add a shower to a bath but the room only has wallpapered plasterboard, not sure what type.
Can I tank onto it, or strip the wallpaper first?
Thanks

Silly question perhaps, but when you're applying a liquid membrane (aquadefense in this case), do you just apply it over the screws that were used to fix the boards. Or do you cover the screws in a little tape or something?
Also, when you've finished the tiling and grouting, and say you're...
Hi
Can anyone please give me some advice on the best method/tile cutter to use when tiling an embedded shower tray (1500x800mm) with s/s centre drain. The tiles I want to use are 750x750mm porcelain. I realise using this method will create many large diagonal cuts to the drain from the outer...
