How many/how often would you do expansion joints?

always when needed, whether Silicon, pre-formed or micro joint(dural epoxy stuff). you'll want to be using heavy duty pre formed ones. if floor is heated bays no bigger than 40m2 not sure of the top of my head how big if not.
