1st time bathroom job

well this is my first bathroom job for a friend.its just 2 walls little splashback of sink and two window sills.i told them to do their window sills in some nice mosiacs.bit of a mistake.they have got some clear mosiacs like quartz/glass looking.how do you cut these.never done them.plus the window sills have a slight slant from window to the window sill edge.10mm to 2mm.do i do a 10mm bed of adesive to 2mm and bed the mosiacs in to that.any help in doing the mosiacs is will be very help full and the little splashback is going to be mosiacs on to a nice even bit.what bed in mm for the splash back.plus fro the walls i was going to 6mm it all as the walls are pretty level.

Sort the cills out before you tile. Use a 4mm trowel with mosaic and make sure the adhesive is suitable for glass.

definately need to sort out the cills flat and level is the only way

had a chat a moment ago and hes going to get the cills plastered and level so thats less of a job.So the cutting of these mosiacs.what does everybody recommend.Can you cut them on the wet cutter.

You can use a wet cutter but might need to change the blade depending what cutter your using

Well iv been up and started the set out of the tiles.stress or what.every time i moved the tiles I ended up wi a sliver on a corner.i have mirror the internal corner so looks nice full tiles ethier side or a full tile looking going in to the corner.but still end up with a sliver at the sides.any help please.

Just had a phone call of my friend.Told him to buy a decent wall adesive not the tubed stuff.So he purchased some mapei white wall adesive to do 6m square at 6mm bed.was complaining that it cost him£25.is that dear.never used mapei.I have a bal primer.Is that o.k to use with it.I thought 6mm bed was the norm.
