1st big porc job..

Nice post mate. Anyone who finds 20m2 a big job and posts for advice I think its great. Make sure you have a good cutting wheel, Sigma B2M wont do your long cuts on this tile and you may need a decent wet wheel dependent on your lay out. don't forget to prime walls and workout if substrate can take weight of tiles including adhesive. Happy tiling.

Do you think I could manage to wet cut these on the long edge with a normal plasplugs type cutter?
If I build a little platform behind it to feed the tiles onto. I also have a marcrist Ck850 wheel on it..
Or would you say hire a bench saw.

To be honest, you are better off buying a cutter (new or used), then sell it on afterwards or just keep it

As above, a plasplug would be hard pushed for that length of tile....perhaps a good grinder with a good cutting wheel for the appropriate material.

Where are you from as im sure someone could borrow you a dry cutter as it would be much quicker

The tiles for one wall have like a wavy surfaced finish!!
I,m sure this would hinder that idea!
But a dry cutter would help with other walls.
I am Nottingham.

Hire or borrow a dry cutter for the long cuts, will save you time ad money against your other option of wet cutting them all. Cant see a problem with getting your 'L' cuts on the plasplugs if you have a decent blade on it, on cuts where the cut edge of the tile will be hidden (like under skirts etc) then i personally would be using my grinder with the appropriate blade it it for porcs. Take your time setting out and take your time tilling it, run your straight edge over the face of the tiles after every tile to ensure it's flat horizontal and vertical. i would be using a 10mm notch and back buttering.

Good luck
