6mm X 1m X 1m Tiles - Why So Bloody Thin?!?!

After being at Coverlam in Birmingham I wouldn't hold much faith in the Mapei adhesives for thin porcs.
Ask Ray or Gary as they ripped up a tile that was fitted with specd adhesive for thin porcs & it wouldn't break down the ribs enough for full coverage.

Which is one BIG reason why we should be setting up our own association! 😉
its the way to go as we have no vested interest but our own they have two association in Australia they hate each other but bring about a good balance in the end not one sided like in the uk

Trouble is Stef most companies not all don't listen to the end user who has more experience using their products than any one in their factory , the chemist will produce what works on a small sample of the material
So true Gary, that's what I like about TileMaster, they seem to listen more to fixers instead of just palming them off.

Im on a job and neighbours joiner has just been on and asked about this foil ufh , it looks really bad , cheap and nasty , he asked my opinion , i said at least slc then matting (tilemaster) he said thats what there tiler has said but the owner has seen a video on the net where they just tile over it :fearscream:
The net has a lot to answwr for :grimacing:

Lol I spoke to wunda about drying times before turning on underfloor heating .after fixing completed .they told me 48 hours is fine as it's ready for light foot traffic .I knew this was wrong .spoke to mapei they said at least 28 days .bit of a difference .I think I'll go with mapei on this .
