6mm X 1m X 1m Tiles - Why So Bloody Thin?!?!

Used this porcel thin a few times on h&m's for their shop fronts a cheap option to granite absolute nightmare to use coming in at lengths of 2.7 metres

I've done a few wunda floors. Trying to remember I'm sure it was something like keratin t mixed with isolastc. But I had to prime the foils with a primer can't remember which one. If the foils aren't primed they have a chemical reaction with the adhesive causing the foils to oxidise and eventually throwing tile. But my god the tile takes a serious hold and wear latex gloves or you'll have white rubber fingers for a week.

I have been assured by wunda and mapei .that just using kera bond t and isolastic is way to stick the tiles .but use 3mm on back of tile 6mm on floor.so don't see point of such a thin tile myself .as I'm laying the tiles it seems I'm compressing the wunda boards and foil down .but it does seem to be sticking hard .but was not told to prime the foil at all ? ?

strange advice of Mapei ...
They told me other things. (course of a year ago)
6mm thin porcelain. they say Ultralite s1
for 3mm thin porcelain / resined ultralite s2
mystery

And they being fixed on a polystyrene underfloor heating board covered in foil .after speaking to the underfloor heating supplier and then mapei .I was told must be kept dust free to stick to the foil on polystyrene .yet it's a 80m2 floor how do I keep it dust free
sorry, could be this, the board Isolastic
