hi all,,just been to look at a job, biggest one ive done so far so need some advice on how to aproach it with my quote so i can get the job,, kitchen floor on concrete, self level 1st then ceramic tiles 27 sq metres........bathroom walls and floor totalling 16 sq metres in travertine with a travertine border wants small trav brick effect on walls and large trav tiles on floor......also a conservatory 15 sq metres with either natural stone or glazed porcelain on concrete floor which ill self level 1st,,im supplying mats also in this price and told the customer if i got the work id do her 2nd bathroom floor f.o.c,,,any help on this price would be amazingly helpful,,thanks:thumbsup::thumbsup:

If it was me Kilty I would just treat each part as a separate "job" and price individually. I wouldn't have done the last floor for free either.

oh well my mistake,,thought it would be an incentive to get the job, customer seemed pretty decent,

Just add on a wee bit extra to each part of the rest of the job.
Sorted.

In future don't offer to do anything like that free, makes you look desperate for the work.
Then the client starts wondering why you are desperate.

What you should do is work out each job individually, then add them all up put on 10% then tell customer if you get all of the tiling you will knock 10% off your price...they think there getting a cheaper price and your still getting exactly the price you want....everybody is a winner..luvvly jubbly

I don't imagine it was. But when she sits down to think about it, that might just cross her mind.
