Advice on Laying floor tiles on top of cork tiles

Hi,
I have a job lined up at the weekend which includes approx 15 square meters of floor tiles. My query is that the floor already has 5mm cork tiles already on the floor, these cork tiles are not the soft type but very hard and all of them are firmly stuck to the floor. What are the suggestions out there? Has anyone else come across this type of thing before? My plan is to unibond the whole floor prior to tiling and also use flexible floor adhesive as I have done on wooden floors in the past. Any suggesstions? Cheers!

Done this very thing today. I removed all the cork tiles (they had vinyl stuck to the surface). This job would have been nigh on impossible without my fein machine.
I then overplyed. The correct thing to do would be to remove and overply but I understand the pain that this can cause.

Always remove - or if possible and there is wood underneath the cork the just ply over the cork tiles
