Advice on relaying a small floor please

Hi all

still here and in need of advice.

When we moved into our house about 15 years ago there was a small tiled area in the porch ( it is small - about 1m sq)
It was always loose and we have spent the last 15 years putting back the odd tile that popped up.
In a moment of madness I decided to relay them and took them up. Most came up very easily, but a few have come with part of the concrete base attached. I am currently removing all traces with a dremmel and a grinder.

So best way to proceed?
The floor needs some repair but is in the main flat.
Should I APD it, then fill the few holes with the adhesive I will fix the tiles with? What addy should I use - it is a minton floor- it does get wet now and then?
For such a small area should I use slc? Seems a bit over top, but I have never done such small tiles before
How best to re fix? Find middle and work out - bearing in mind it is only 1 m sq.:yes:

There didn't appear to be a grout - is this correct?
Best way to clean after fitting? The difference from just washing in soapy water is amazing
Off to source a new engine for the frog - then see to the floor surface today. Cleaning up the tiles will take a while.

In a way I am pleased that there have been no replies so far - at least it means you are all too busy earning money :yes:

However, having now sourced an engine for my beloved frogeye and I need to crack on. I have brushed the small area clear of any dust and debris and have applied a liberal coat of apd. At least this will stop the floor dusting up again.

So I await advice on which adhesvive is best for these tiles before I carry on.
In the mean time I will carry on cleaning up the old tiles.

I would just prime, then use a rapid set flexi cement and just fill any shallow areas that have come up with the tiles at the same time, then a flexi grout and your done.

Also, I would center the floor and tile outwards, unless this was going to leave slither cuts around the edges, and if so, move the starting tile say an inch or so either way to make a better edge cut.

I will give it a go, I will buy what you suggest.

Have so far cleaned 1/2 of the tiles with my dremel and grinder.
I didn't realise you could get vibration white finger (if thats what it is) so quick.
Spent a few hours non stop on dremel, now fingers in hand feel 'springy' and sore. Thank god I'm not a road driller - wouldn't last five minutes.
