Am I fussy?

I hate for my first post to be another person asking if my job is bad, but I'd wholly appreciate honest opinions on whether I'm being fussy here:

The chipped porc is going to annoy the hell out of me (the rest of the cuts are fine, but this is in the bath on the corner of the window in an obvious place). The same goes for the floor, its out by just over 1mm, but its a whole row of 3 tiles and then of course the next and final row next to it.

Am I just super fussy?

Aside from slight lipping (Porc large tiles in brick bond), and that a little too much grout was washed out in places (which I'm pulling the firm up on tomorrow) I'm fairly happy:

Do I ask them to replace the tile around the window (will this completely the plasterboard beneath and be harder than it looks?), and do I ask them to sort the floor?

Many Thanks!
Chris

Some expert getting caught out with rectified tiles on brick bond by the sound of it.

Sorry, it wouldn't let me post pics, just copy and paste those short links into the browser...

I've managed to save your photo's from your one drive and hopefully, I've got them attached here.

Neither picture is great but the cut to the window has to come out! Either the Tiler needs a new cutting wheel or new teeth as he looks to have had a good chew of the edge! Also agree with your pulling of the grout - washed too much out.

Thanks John, appreciate the reply. With some of the grout taken out, it looks a little better, but the tile is of course still chipped - 1drv.ms/1krymok, would you still take it out?

Do you think this can come out without causing too much pain - especially given the location and plasterboard backing?

Cut around the window is not acceptable and has to come out regardless of the plasterboard behind it, his poor workmanship in this area needs resolved at his expense , not yours! Can't really make the other picture out!!

To be honest, I don't really have a problem with butt finishing square edge trim, provided there are no exposed corners.

I agree here mate but the grout would need to be the same colour as the trim i.m.o

As much as I hate to back-peddle, I've just seen the pic on my ipad, and realise it's a brushed trim. Brushed would have to be mitred, because of the grain.

Can we have more pictures. I'm betting is not up to tf tiles standards

Though I'd agree about the standard in the 2 pictures of this job , I'am not sure if there is a TF standard or any criteria to define an acceptable job!

At the end of be day, the customer is always right... If they're happy, it's acceptable. If they're not, it's not. Once in a blue moon, you may get a completely unreasonable customer, who is just trying to get the job for free, or a discount, but I certainly don't think it's unreasonable to expect a finish that isn't badly chipped on the cut edges.

chipping around the window is not acceptable in my opinion.
Is the trim something that the tiler has put in or is it something pre-exsting around the window that the tiler has tiled up to?
