I actually think it is a bit underpriced in all honesty. Heavilly bevelled tiles in brick bond will take some time and needs to be done with a bit of care. Quarries are also not straight forward as the sizes can vary a bit and they are also small tiles for a floor.

Just my opinion and others may disagree. I think you will be working very hard for your money.

I actually had a figure of 900 in my head....so sounds good, none of the tiling you are doing is base level so you should charge for the work you are doing. Quarrys, brickbond, bevelled tiles, tile over tile. A good first job to get your teeth in to. Take your time and measure everything two or three times and if you get stuck the guys on here will help.
Good luck mate!

I'm doing a full bathroom in those brick tiles, its taking me ages.I,ve definately under priced the job, just gave a normal ceramic sqm rate and forgot that I'm actually laying over a thousand tiles on crappy walls.I now have to work saturday and sunday to get the job finished and it almost feels like I'm working them for free:furious3:
She is very happy with the job though so theres alot more work from this customer in the future, pricing will be different next time.

That was my point exactly when I responded to his question earlier I am glad at least one person agrees with me. I still think he will be working very hard for his £830. His floor alone has 600 tiles, quarries at that, which will need to be wet cut really to get a nice finish.

This pricing game is an odd one. In fact I posted last week with what I had quoted for a 11m kitchen floor and a 3m bathroom floor. 396 inc materials. Not one person thought I had overpriced yet from the reaction of the customer they obviously thought I had and didn't get the job.
Has anybody used the line that you will try and beat a more competitive quote if you can or is it not a done thing ?
