Anybody still use the Dewalt 24000

Was thinking of getting the vitrex just to add to the tool kit. Does anyone else rate this tile saw for money spent?

Still have mine for those heavy duty cutting jobs. I use it about two or three times a year and also hire it out to people I know. It's paid for itself a couple of times over.

Why is it you don't use the D24000 much. Do you not use it for bathrooms for cuts around windows/doors/ shower trays etc.... I'd have thought it would be perfect for it instead of the smaller cutters.

It's a fair size bit of kit, not something to be plonked in the landing area especially with the water trays.

I suppose so but what do yous use instead, a grinder,plasplug,vitrex?

I got rid if mine last year. Too big and cumbersome for the everyday job.

Grinder and a steady hand covers most cuts.

Mine has been out of the van and on display for a few weeks now. It's cutting a rough surface 600x600 porcelain around a swimming pool with precision and ease.
Biggest and most enjoyable contract we've done for a few years.
Even had a visit from Dewalt to watch this early version perform.
Great piece of kit!

I got one about 8 months ago I've used it 4 times on travertine and slate great piece of kit stays in the back corner of the van just in case.

Mines not cutting square at the moment, think it's time for a new blade. It's had some serious hammer this year so can't complain. Got another 9 stone bathrooms between now and Feb so need to give it a bit of tlc
