A floor sander is next on my list then a bigger van! That will have to wait until next year though!

What floor sander are you thinking of ?
Whatever I can find at the right price Neale, It's got to be 110v though. I've just been looking at the STR701 on ebay, I've hired them a few times and they are really heavy duty which is what I want. It will be used on anhydrite screeds as and when but must of the time it will be used for sanding SLC when I'm laying vinyl.

I was looking at those too. Really need to sort something out soon. I hate sanding floors !
There's a guy in Kent listing some with a buy it now of £699 or make me an offer. I'm heading down to London on Tuesday to look at a couple of jobs so I'm going to ask if he'll take £500 cash for one. Because they have the 32amp plug on I have to hire the transformer too which costs me £80 a time all in, buying one would soon pay for itself.

Picking up a sledgehammer at 7am tomorrow from screwfix. Actually quite excited!!! Sad, but true!
I'll let you know how I get on, if he's willing to play ball at £500 and the machine is ok I'm up and down to London all the time if you want one.......watch this space!!

How does this machine cope with smaller areas though. My jobs tend to be Kitchen size and sometimes with kitchen installed.
