On my way to measure a job last night when the wife phones me crying, what's up I ask her in a panic she'd been round the shop to get something and her card was rejected so she comes home and checks her account and it turns out my 10 year old son has run up a bill on a free app for ......... Wait for it £480 the game that he's been on (clash of clans ) was free and is addictive and tells you your under attack improve your defence, you can do this by buying gems , jewels ect, so he did lots of. Obviously he's heard his mum giving me the password a couple of days ago while getting him a different free game, I feel like killing him and the wife is in bit cos it was all the money she had saved up for Xmas

I got a 15 yr old daughter........£180 phone bill in one month...:yikes:

she had 7000 number, limit for free text and managed to exceed it, how the hell can you send more than 7000 texts in a month..?

Ye I've took it off him now mate, it actually sent me misses over her overdraft and the bank still kept accepting it which I will be taking up with them if I can't get anything back off apple. The dust has settled a bit and I only want to slap him now instead killing him every time I see him

Thats pretty much 1 text every 5 minutes, 24 hours a day! Good effort!

Friend of mine had his son over for the weekend cost him £180 for getting extra levels on a similar game.

If you have not authorised it and it's on your credit card they have taken the money under fraudulent conditions. I beleive this is covered under your section 73 consumer credit protection. If apple won't cough up then you should lodge a complaint with your credit card company.

I think by actually putting your bank details in when setting up an iPhone which you have to do and this is my wife's old phone your giving them permission to take money if you've bought something or in my case f**king gems to protect a base on a stupid game, but I appreciate any help or any different angles or avenues I can go down when I get I reply off apple

Oh and it's a debit card not a credit card which I probably would be able to claim back off
