Bad builders

I'm ripping out & refitting a bathroom at the moment and started tiling at last today. Went outside of customers new sunroom to use the outside tap where I discovered this shoddy workmanship.

Opening windows that can't be opened due to drainpipe & tap that can't turn on because of the windowsill.

I'm going to speak with her about it tomorrow as I don't think she has realised it's such a shoddy mess!!!

Have'nt been involved with builders for quite a few years, this particular builder could'nt even fit a 1.5m length of guttering without it falling the wrong way for the water to drain.

Could'nt even repeat what the roof tiler said about the builders roof work or any other work he done when comes to it...

Be careful Geoff builders take it very personally having there shoddy work criticised....

You have to master a trade to know s h i t workmanship, jobs like these are done by cowboys , not tradesmen of any sort

its going on all over...any tom dick or harry can take on any jobs if they have the gift of the gab...its time we had some form of permit introduced to be able to carry out work on joe blogs house...

Is there anything in any other countries that goes on like this that we could adopt ?

I heard that the reason ikea kitchens are closed back to wall is because all pipework must be hidden in the walls ? I would love to live in Sweden, I hate pipes on show...and cables...in fact I hate sockets too !

A 90 degree bend on the gutter would bring it directly over the downpipe and do away with the swan neck.

He could have brought the gutter round 90* and just put a down pipe in.
Dont mention Sweden in the posts as its all verbal rubbish that comes out of there.

i do all plumbing in the bathrooms that way
