bad tiling

I've just had my bathroom tiled & it looks awful. He's coming back tomorrow to grout & for his money. I've taken lots of pictures & already started taking the tiles down. This has ruined my newly plastered walls & I've had to order new tiles as several of them have broken. Please help

you should give him the chance to put it right taking the tiles down yourself might not have been the best idea he should have been the one to do it can you upload the pics?

allready gave him the chance and did somethings, and hide rest until you look really close, went in tile gaint to get some more tiles to try and sort some of it, a tiler in there asked what was wrong and he came looked, told us not to pay him, its bad

Catch 22 - if you take the tiles down without giving him the chance to put it right, you may have no claim against his workmanship, but at least you have saved some of the tiles!
You ask for help but you've already made the decision and it's now a game of wills. If your not happy and you decide not to pay him - that's your choice. He may take you to court for non payment and lost earnings but you could counter claim for loss of materials and damage caused. You may both end up with some loss and that may be the best of a bad situation.
If all the tiling was complete, at what stage did you decide it was 'awful' and how long had the work been in progress? Have you contacted the person contracted to undertake the work with your proposals? Many questions and usually photos help to give advice, but in this case your actions have almost decided the outcome.
If it's of any consolation - I'd have taken them down as well if I'd not been happy, however I'd have asked him back ASAP to watch me take them off just so he knew I was not best pleased.

i have phoned him, he said he had done is best, how angry am i.
I fell for all the talk when he came to give me the quote, i am the stupid one. just taken the tiles all down what a mess, if i knew how to put pictures on hear i would, sorry i am dum arse. thanks

Unlikely, plumbers have to pass spelling and grammar exams to get into the business. Lol
