I personally think bumslap has been misled in a big way!! Lets be honest that if a chap pops round in a van possible sign-written, uniform ie. t-shirt with same names, logos etc. Lots of pictures in portfolio of jobs that arnt his who are we to dispute this... i would personally not keep sending each potential client around to the house of the last job etc to see the work, because if i was a customer i wouldnt want random people keep knocking at my door to ask to see my kitchen, bathroom etc. It really is a situation thats a difficult one to solve and probably never could solve fully. What i would say though to any customers is ALWAYS check the work after each day and youll spot dodgy tiling straight away and refuse to let them continue immediately!! Trust is the biggest factor on the job and its a 2 way street, ie. that we can tile and they can pay!
Here, here! The one thing I hate is when customers take no interest at all, come in at the end of the job and say ''Oh I thought you would have done that differently'' etc, etc, etcAt the end of each day I ask my customer to look at the work that has been done. If they are not then it's easier to change anything at that point than when the job is complete. I always make sure they are happy with the set out, where cuts are etc before I fix any tiles. Can save a load of hassle at the end!!
I have never seen anything like it, he is not a tiler he's a nightmare.......
Looks like a chancer to me. Was he a plasterer or a plumber saying he could do it all with grinder?
