BAL Max Flex & White Star Plus

Got some new price lists through today and it's got 2 new products on it

BAL Max Flex (Which I think is fibre reinforced) anmd White Star Plus

Anybody know anything about them?

1st I've heard about any of them.

Don't use bal much now apart from grouts & what tubs I've got left..

Yes.. They will be expensive

I've now been told the max flex is an upgraded mosaic fix, it did have the same list price as mosaic fix so that makes sense the white star plus is the same price as white star too.

I think they are existing products that have been, erm, 'improved'. I rarely use tubbed but in my opinion the current/previous White Star was fine. Perhaps the 'improvement' has been for BAL's benefit. I expect the new Maxflex to be BALs way of saying that Mosaic Fix isnt just for mosaics. Again a great adhesive but a bit pricey.

After the way they messed micromax up i should imagine they've just changed packaging so they can make it more expensive!

Always used to use BAL but its weber adhesives and mapei grouts all the way for me these days
