BAL or Mapei?

Use mainly Biscem and Evo Technik adhesives and grouts. Good prices and I know the products well. Nearest Mapei stockist is a awkward to get to and not overly keen on their products. (Probably because I don't know them well).

Got bad memories of Ultracolour from grouting an entire Topshop in it. The rapidset grout was a curse as it's not really feasible to grout 50m bays in 1m sections.

As a follow up to the above post...

Needed some grey grout for a porcelain bathroom floor this morning, had half a bag of Ultracolour in the garage from a while back so lifted that. Left a nice finish, would consider using it again on porcelain as it wasn't the nightmare it had been doing large areas of ceramic.

Bal green star - White star first class
bal rapid set flexi - nothing better
bal flexi grout- top notch
and last but not least bal wall grout.
I've used granfix (pish) and mapi grout even worse.

No.! But the only price difference I find is with the flexi rapidset £25 for a 20 kg bag.for piece of mind it's worth it

Hey up Spanish. Have you ever used Benfergyps? if so have you used it with a membrane?

have used it on all my gypsum floors after sanding the latence off, only used ci on one gyp floor and we layed the ci with a floor glue rather than addy
