I know what you mean Marc, but the way I look at it is why price it that you may leave yourself exposed. It's a tough one. A tile may break even lifting it due to a weakness, imagine a customer accusing you in that situation. Do manufacturers start offering fitter based insurance policies or something or do their tiles become too exspensive for us to want to fit?
It is a dilemma mate, for sure.
I've got some 3m x 1.5m next week.
All cut down to fit complete walls and floors in one piece.
Obviously cutting room is downstairs, then they've got to be transported up two floors to be fitted.
And this is a property in London. Not a big swanky purpose built house in a middle of a field with wide open spaces.
Staircase's are steep and narrow and so on.
Won't deny I'm a little apprehensive.
Wouldn't dream of moving stuff like that without frames and so on, it gives piece of mind.
But they've also got to be paid for, not bloody cheap.
