:incazzato:
My local stockist decided to get this in now and I had to get it as it is an hours drive to the next nearest place. Honestly what a load of rubbish. Full of lumps - I had to sieve them out, it smears and drags rather than spreads and sets off too quickly so you have to keep making up small batches.
I have always used Ultra tile adhesives which they used to stock and have had no problems at all.
There's chromium salts present in all cements and plasters as far as I am aware. I always use vinyl gloves anyway.
all adhesive manufacturers by law have to put limiters in their adhesive not just uk ones ,this is after an EU directive came into force in 2004 .I was usingBenfer at the time it came in and they put labels on the bags stating when it was manufactured, this is important as the chemical binders degrade over time increasing the chromium vi risk so dont use old adhesive
yes it isI've just watched Erin Brockovitch again and she was banging on about "Hexavalent Chromium" which was making all the residents sick, Is this the same stuff?????
and if so:yikes::yikes::yikes:
