The votes are slowly coming along. Will keep chipping away. I'm glad I started way before December when I was planning to do it but trying to get tradespeople to vote on things I've always found hard to do. 😆

I was expecting BAL and Mapei to do well as they always do. Then Weber has done better the last few years so they're up there with BAL and Mapei now. But Tilemaster and Ultra are both doing well too.

Quite a few rebranded stuff in tile shops so I don't stick them in. Votes are all public, even before you vote (part the reason it takes ages to collect the votes these days as we didn't used to do that so people needed to vote to read the results), and I'm monitoring the voters and all are genuine unique IP addresses and connections. So there's no messing about these days.

Trying to cheat is too much hassle and would be spotted so brands don't want to risk that. So it's genuinely a nice addition to existing sales metrics and things to see which brands are used to fix tiles.

Most voters are tilers by trade but some are plumbers / bathroom fitters etc and some DIY / Homeowners.

Kelmore is the new brand that’s hitting the right specs!
Improved formula on the original product - Tilemaster - owned and sold off by the Kelly family and now back in the market as Kelmore!
Does everything it says on the bag and at reasonable cost.

Hi Dan, I feel the need to point out that Kelmore / Tilemaster are not affiliated. Tilemaster is a brand owned by Kerakoll. Kelmore is a separate entity, and any association, albeit mistakenly could lead to difficult conversations between Kelmore & Kerakoll. If you could amend the poll, it would be appreciated. Thanks

So I'll amend the Poll, tilemaster is still available and is aa Kerakoll brand now. Perhaps the confusion was with the name starting with Ke still. Not sure will fix the Poll though and add kelmore as its own brand.

I'm sure we had this once with another brand a few years back. Maybe when Ardex bought BAL or something. Not sure.

BAL from Topps for me, plenty of topps around so never one too far away so its just easy, had customers supply some different adhesives that have been decent to work with but its just finding a supplier i can find in a good radius to pop into to

If you're planning jobs ahead you might find bal cheaper in bulk online somewhere. 😉
