Owned one for six years. Depends what your looking for in a bike to be honest. I bought from new and got it because everyone else had a CBR! Nice and roomy plenty of weather protection and a good pillion seat. Carbs can ice when its cold. Toured France on it and had no problems.

If however your looking for a focused sports bike then look elsewhere! I suspect the CBR is better in this respect for example, and an R6 definatly will be!
