Black Polished Porcelain stains, HELP!

Tilers Forums Official Sponsors

Seal before laying if your a dirty tile setter lol.
If you work clean lay then seal twice then grout.

If you try seal more than twice the tile most likley wont take any more sealer up and it will stay on the surface making it cloudy, bit of a bugger to get off then.

Gents another question, i've got a bit of high gloss paint on the tiles, the florr was covered but a bit sneaked through the covers. I can't shift the marks i've tried abra clean which removes most of the marks but still leaves a light stain.

Any ideas???

Thanks In advance

Hi

Try Astonish oven and cookware cleaner, its a paste in a tub you can buy from most supermarkets, using a non metal scourer. Try this on a small area first, needs a bit of cleaning off, but it works for me.

Hi swiss, yes they shoul have been sealed first .what you need to do is to get some fila porcelain cleaner and clean it well, then let it dry.after this seal it .then grout it ,again after grouting you will need to cleen itagain .then the final seal with a fine roller, well that is what i like to use.hope this helps.
