How much does it cost to register your name ?
You can't just "register" your name at Companies House. You need to apply to form Limited Company with the name you require and do it in accordance with the Finance Act 2006.

As I have mentioned in a previous post somewhere, there is no official way of registering a sole trader or partnership name in the United Kingdom anymore. The government used to have an organisation to do this but it was abolished in the early '90s.

There is a PLC that does try and contol unscrupulous use of other peoples business names but it is not regulated by or represent the government. It is just a mony making vehicle for them.

What ever you think works. i have pondered over oads and loads of names. good search to do is on yell.com. type in tiler and put any location like london or glasgow for example and you will see loads of tilers names. there was also a god website though google. just type in tilers and there will be loads of website that advertise tilers and there names. get ideas play around with them but remember to do your research to see if they are being used in your area
