Can I Use Mapei Adhesive?

decided against using the supplied Kaldewei polystrene carrier as this would raise the tray too high..

slightly worried about flexibility when using sand and cement? wouldn't flexible tile adhesive be better?

Not sure it will be strong enough at that thickness? Maybe you could add some additive to the sand cement, although not tried it myself and not sure it the two work togetheror not. Im sure someone else will know?

hi you may need to screw cement sheet to floor under shower base first 6mm then sand and cement mixed about 4 to 1 floor needs to be deflection free first. shame you didnt waterproof :8:

thanks. can i apply the mixture straight to the ply floor? would this offer the same flexibility as mapei keraquick and latex plus?
