OH NO IT'S NOT !! in most tradesmen's Books of a certain era, two completely different things LOL ........its a bit like referring to installing SLC as SCREEDING..............hhehehehhehheeee
but PJC and rookery has hit the nail on the head.......one is "waterproof" the other is "Water Resistant".......and the one that is "resistant" is a bugger to cut!!!!!!but IMO...they are both "backerboards!"...hehhehehehee
I get confused at the best of times Dave but a few talk about them as if they are the same product not sure if it's my age as her in doors says or it's the stroke my be both :yikes:Backer board as in it fix's to a background as in walls or floor ...
So the question is can they also be called substrate boards :lol:
