chip in bath

hi lads went and put a very small chip in customers bath right at the end of the job. now the customer said just put some sillicone on it. well theres no way im doing that not professional at all. so whats the best way round this? i know they do a fixing kit for this but not having done thta before id rather get a firm in to do it. does anybody know any firms ? im in hants.

there's one called Plastic Surgeon round our way, not sure if it's a nationwide firm tho' but maybe worth a google:thumbsup:

... dont go spending loads of money - its a DIY job. You can get kits (you can get them for less than a tenner) that consist of resin and hardner just for fixing chips in baths and sinks! ... I have one but no idea where from, mine is made by Cramer Gmbh and the UK agent is Badhaus in Somerset. Mine fixes porcelian, enamel, acrylic and fibreglass. Go googling for repair kits, its not an expensive repair.
(if you cant find one ask at your local Grahams - they are the plumbers merchants part of Jewsons - i bet they know or can get you one ... gotta be worth a try for less than a tenner)
