Chisel edge travertine

I'm a property developer in the middle of laying a 200m2 travertine floor and would really appreciate some advice. The vast majority of cuts are to be hidden under skirts but we have a quite a few that will abut dressed stone walls.

With the chisel edge to the tiles, we'll end up with a square edge against the wall. Any ideas on how to easily dress the cut edge?

May be the clue is in the name and I just grab a chisel but thought it best to ask some experts as there is probably a trick to this.

This can be achieved by using a good quality SDS drill fitted with a flat edge chisel. You may require a stiff rotating wire brush to tidy up any really ragged bits. I state good quality because an SDS such as my Makita has virtually infinite control on the trigger where as the cheaper ones don't

I have done similar using a wet cutter...........just angle the travertine and cut small notches/bumps on the cut side

You must have wrist muscles like Tarzan:lol: I suppose if the snips break you could always bite a few bits out
