Supposed to go to Hull to have Christmas Day + dinner with Howard's daughter and the new grandbabby, the boyfriend and the mother, (hubby's ex-wife, luckily they split up before H and I met) hmmmm... back up plan staying at home sounds OK!!! :lol: Either way will be ok really, just got go go with the flow... it's only a day.

We're having Xmas day in our house

My Mam and dad are coming up on Friday, which is a 400 mile trip so hopefully the snow will have subsided by then and my MIL is coming along as well, but she only lives 200yds along the street so that shouldn't be too bad:smilewinkgrin:

having my wifes family on xmas day, going to middlesbrough boxing day to see my mum and dad and rest of the clan (might inflict the match on my son)

pomegranate,wild mushrooms and a red wine reduction goes lovely with fillet steak.

My back up plan is to go round Girl Racers for Steak & Chips.

I've just checked the AA route to Stoke-on-trent.

The AA say its 159.86 miles and 3 hours so I will head off at 9am Christmas Day and expect to be there for 12noon. And I might borrow Enduros soft van tyres to get there.
