Clean licence?

I had the gun on me on a new bit of motorway today. I was doing 70 & knowing, my luck it was a 50. Guess ill find out within the next few weeks

45000 miles a year for the last 10 years and thanks to 1 speed awareness course i have a clean licence. had 3 points about 9 years ago but theyre long gone.

Few weeks ago I took my wife to Bristol airport as she was goin home (as she puts it) to Edinburgh......in my excitement of having the house to myself........I got zapped doing 35 in a 30 zone. Bar stewards. Filled in the form for the "awareness course", and I await a date??? :incazzato::incazzato:

Guess they didn't like you then. Unless your reckless or being cheeky, you normally get a slap on the wrist. There is a 10% + 3mph grace but its up to the officers discretion

banned for speeding, points for talking on the phone, no seat belt, twice now , keep forgetting to put it on. but for the past 6 years, clean licence, and most of the speeding was on bikes......if youv'e ever ridden bikes, you will know its easy done...

That's how I got done in 2005, last one in a line of traffic trundling along on a Sunday morning.

Paperwork for booking my 4 hour awareness course. £80.......plus 1/2 day lost. At least I don't get points.

I got a 6 month ban about 25 years ago for accumulating points, 6 were for lending my mate my van, he'd told me he was insured to drive any vehicle, he got pulled over and he wasn't:incazzato:, 2nd lot was when I was driving my mates car while he was in America, I was on the insurance policy but got pulled over and couldn't produce the documents on time so I got another 6 points and the ban.
Not had a single point since
