customize or die!

i bought a klindex ufo on stone tec fairy.. it was a good price and i like it. want to grind small rooms and kitchen tops or something. or just can do it and have the tool.
so and since the stone tec.. its long time ago i wait for an offer for tools for this machine. i ring on very often the italian man but there was no response.
so i have the machine and no tools and the machine has special klindex mounts. so now here are the pics how i solve the problem with my joiner and his CNC.

the orginal mounts are just for pads. we make a wooden prototype for a M14 mount. so i can fit cheap grindwheels and cheap brushes. and diamond brushes. there are not available at klindex. (and if, they don´t sell it to me i think, i don´t know why).. so no its no more needet to buy the orginal stuff. i take my good old M14 stuff. .. the final mounts are milled in POM plastik.. works very fine!

Always interested in your latest projects rainsco.

Klindex do like to sell their own consumables and they are so very expensive.

I like what you've done done. With some copper resin diamond pads you have a perfect concrete countertop polisher.

I've been looking at these machines myself and thinking about importing a similar version as concrete counter tops are starting to become very popular here in the UK.

hi, .. yes ,copper pads are nice. i use a 30 grid one and its perfekt and very longlive.. .. there is another countertop grinder. the name is samich.. but its the same machine. .. for counter tops i think you need a more handle and light machine. in china there are planetar hand grinders.. but i´m not a fan from china machines.. tools are ok but all elektric i don´t know....

yes, thats the machine.. do you know that flex is bought up by china consortium a few weeks ago?..its a little bit sad because they invent it.
that machine seems nice to handle but i think its not suitable for long time grinding.. and if you know how often you have to grind with diffrent grids its always nice to have a big engine.. i grind this porpyhr floor with my concrete grinder and my wet grinder.. it turns often itself off because of overheating. low speed and high torque is extrem stress for machines.
