does that blade do a "perfect" mitre on porcelain Dave?.....one you can marble mastic two tiles together and fit as an L shape to a corner in one piece?

because if it does I have to get one......

Lee

It is like anything else lee .. it depends on how the mitre is done and where on the tile , if an L-cut then always it has to be done by hand as you mentioned.. i was just saying the DNA is a nice thick blade with little wander... but cuts like a dream..

just a thought.

In my opinion........you cant get a "perfect" mitre on porcelain with a wetsaw........you cant......you need a specialist machine.....like the one from Ramondi......

failing that a perfect mtire can be achieved via a wetsaw and hand polishing..............my mate ATS Diamond tools is developing a "bit" that can be added to a flex machine (or angle grinder!)....
that has an m8 thread!!!..
that will do a mitre...........perfectly.......in principal...

I dont have one yet to test but I do have a couple of his other bits to check out in the near future........20mm full bullnose and 15mm quarter round.............VIDEO INCOMING!.....

all the best

Gary already has one of the mitre tools Lee. I'm sure he'll let you have a play if you ask nicely.

I had a very limited number ready to go, the rest are imminent as soon as I get the new washers here, which is taking far longer than was first suggested.

clearly posts have dissapeared leaving me a little confused......so Dave......I have a spectrum blade, it is fantastic, but its not cheap...and I bet the monolit is not either.....the spectrum is 2/3mm thick and wanders a little...TBH....

and ATS........WHAT DO YOU MEAN GARY HAS ONE!!!!!...........hhehehheeheheeheee.........Gary has gone to Egypt for the weekend, and god willing........he is having a great time!!!!

all the best
