I cant remember the job title, but one of my customers use to study the flight patterns off bats, if someone applied for planning on say a new motorway, highrise building, phone mast etc then if there was bats in the area then he studied there flight pattern to make sure it wasnt interrupted. if it was going to be interupted then he would tell them what had to be done so as the bats could still find there way around etc.
he said there was only two of them in the country that did this and he travels all over the world to do his work!!
