I'm just after dry laying some tiles and am preparing everything for when I start.

What would be the best option to cut around the pipe below. I have a tile hacksaw, but it's literally taking ages and I also have a nippers, but that doesn't work great (for me) as in the nipper bit on one side is already shattered, any ideas?

Drill bits, yes - Diamond tile bit. Would an angle grinder be the best option with a diamond tipped blade?

You want a nice neat hole cutting and then a cover cap to cover the hole...much neater than U cutting and putting a cut in if you can get away with it....

365 has a demo somewhere...maybe he might see this and post it for you..

As others have said, drill a hole and use caps or an angle grinder / wet cutter and cut a channel, first option is neater.
