cutting tiles with a grinder

any one use a grinder (with a decent diamond blade) for cutting tiles/stone.

got talking to a tiler in the supplers today, he was telling me how he dos't bother with a wet cutter anymore just uses a grinder for all his stone and L shaped cuts.

I only use an angle grinder for grinding down some of the biscuit if required to fit into trims etc. Use wet cut for everything else

I use mine quite often, mainly if I'm doing checkout cuts and cut in a diagonal and then score and snap both ways

I use a grinder now and then, but not for cutting. Prefare the finish of the dewalt or vitrex flat bed.

it's just a bosch diamond blade, (I do seem to have a lot of bosch stuff, honest I'm not plugging them lol)

Seen as i do a lot of stone work , i use my grinder and turbo blade quite a bit.. shaping..scribing..curving etc etc.. always handy for that precise little shaping.

i was using my grinder to day with my stone polishing disc for preping the cut edge of the meter long tiles ready to stick the perfils. it did the job like a goodun.
