Decoupling mat, seal or not?

Tilers Forums Official Sponsors

Hi, it's going over anhydrite screed on wet UFH on open plan ground floor so the mat is to stop cracks and tenting. For Ditra mat (not Ditra Heat), I've seen it listed with Kerdi-Keba tape and Kerdi-Coll-L adhesive but they might be only needed on bathrooms, not kitchens?

From other threads here, my spec is:
• Remove laitance (builder to do)
• Vacuum
• Primer, eg. Tilemaster PrimePlus, Kerakoll Active Prime Fix, Ardex P51, £40
• Apply Tilemaster Anhyfix, Kerakoll Biogel No Limits or Ardex AF 200 Plus, £120
• Fit decoupling membrane, eg. Ditra
• Apply Kerakoll Standard Set Setaflex
• Fit tiles

Or I might choose BAL FlexBone 2Easy decoupling mat which is loose lay so no primer or mat adhesive, but still more expensive.
