I am pricing a 100m+ limestone floor on top of wet UFH set in a concrete screed. I have used Ditra in the past but wondered if any of you have other preferences and why? A decoupling membrane has been specified but nothing has been mentioned about which one.

So, which one to use? Ditra, Dural or something else?

I also use both, dural seems to be slightly cheaper but, there have been a few good offers on ditra recently.

Never had a problem with Ditra and for a floor that size and the cost involved would not use anything else regardless even if it was more exspensive

ditra is the only one i use these days as i have had too many problems with other brands in the past

never had a problem with ditra but also use pecilastic now as well .
i can buy ditra slightly cheaper than pecilastic but much less adhesive and labour on pecilastic.
i find a heavy duty vinyl roller a must for a quick fit for pecilastic and ditra.
only used this roller in last two years but once used you will never go back.

Only use Ditra, prefer paying a bit extra for it but some really good deals online at the moment so the price difference over Dural is minimal.

How does the roller work Jonny? I use a small tooth trowel and latter down with a float. The floor is nice and flat (makes a change) but anything to speed things up at my age........
