Ditra rollers

Good Evening All

I have always used my plastering trowel when pressing the Ditra into the adhesive or even a hefty piece of timber pressing down and pushing outwards.

Has anybody used these rollers where a pack of tiles weigh it down and there thoughts?
Well built or fragile?
Anybody knows who stock them? (intial look Karl Dahm and Schluter do one though not seen any uk stockists)

Trying to take the pressure off my knees and back.

Cheers

Kevin

Bri put a link up a while ago for a roller for Ditra, there was a video aswell & it certainly pushed the Ditra into the adhesive.

Yeah I got one from eBay, it's a Karndean/Amtico roller. Great quality, I'll find a link shortly. It was about £27 delivered from a flooring company.

If I have an area to do, Brandon Tool Hire. Water filled garden roller about £20 for the day.

I just use a grout float. Don't really see the need for a karndean roller, unless you're sticking it down with that flooring glue (can't remember the name)!?!

Good to know that.

I would have thought 20gk would be suffice, weight of a bag of addy.

Soon tell when the roller arrives
