altho' you may not need to prime ply with every addy that you choose, you'll need to use a primer to seal the underside and edges of ply to eliminate delamination by moisture ingress

Thanks Doug, something that I have never done before as have never been advised to, even by any of the tilers I work with who, have been tiling 25 years plus and have all their quals. Will certainly do this in the future. No come backs so far.
