Do you offer a guarantee

I don't offer a guarentee as such, once i'm finished a job I always have a chat with the customer, normally offering advice on cleaning products etc especially if the tiles are natural stone and sealers are required. But I always say to them if you have a problem or need any advice then ring me.

Only once have I been called back, 2 yrs after completion of a bathroom the customer called be back out, silicon had come off round the bath. I went out, took all silicon off round the bath and resealed. I didn't charge as it was only a 20 minute job. about 4 weeks later i got a call to do a quote and guess where they got my number .

Not a written legal guarentee, just the same as anybody else, any problems and give me a call. Although I wouldn't be adverse to doing so but it would push the price up especially a 10 year one!

It might give you the edge but an extended guarentee has to be paid for, it's like damp proofing, if you want a specialist damp proofing firm to carry out some work it might cost £3k, ask them for a 15 year guarentee and the cost will rocket to £10k

I give a verbal guarantee along the lines of most of the others, ie any problems or questions give me a call. I have thought about a written one, but I haven't really had time to look into it properly. I'm insured against damages etc and would be interested to see other peoples examples

I stand over my work, but given the areas of Belfast that I work in, I wouldn't be one for advertising claims or warranties.
