Use to when I worked in Bournmouth just over 30 years ago, Early saturday morning would climb the locked gates at Boscombe pier and watch a shoul of mackeral coming in so easy to catch. You can't beat the taste of fresh fish. Happy memories:yes:

Yes i sea fish mainly at blyth pier,and the river tyne,there are a few people and is increasing in number who go out in kayaks just a few hundred metres from shore off tynemouth catching decent size fish too,the river tyne is a good mark all year round,in summer for flounders to 2lb+ and eels about 3ft in length,but best fishing is usually from october to jan for cod and coalfish..

Anglesea makes for a good day / night's fishing, plenty of rocks to fish over, and if the weather gets poor, plenty of prominades over harbours for sheltered fishing.

Havent been since january. Planning on getting some sessions sorted out next month.

fave place is dorset-ringstead/kimmeridge lovely part of the world and decent bass(sometimes lol)

used to do all 3, coarse, fly and sea...Ireland in sept for a week of sea with the lads I used to work with, it's an annual thing..

by the way bass...."if she'll let me", what's this all about..put your foot down man..lol

hello basshunter. i USED to go fishing until i started tiling. now any free time. (very rare) she lays on the guilt trip. spending time with the kids, decorating, tiling etc etc you know the score. when i do go we normally go to perch rock (in the winter) or wales in the summer. have a look on the wirralseafishing web site. http://www.wirralseafishing.co.uk/cs/reports/report.php?ven=Porth Oer. its the report by my fishing buddy timbo. that was the last outing we went on, arriving at 3 in the afternoon and returning at 5 in the morning. it was horrendous weather and i still havent caught a bass. i am new to the sport though and have only blanked once..... where do you fish basshunter?. ps that dogfish was fun and put up one hell of a fight
