Dukka Board or Hardibacker Board

Hi all,
Just wondering what you all prefer to use if covering over floors or lining walls.
I know dukkaboard is light and easy to cut but is it as stable as the harder and heavier
hardibacker board ( try saying that quickly) Your thoughts please.

John, new tiler from Hampshire

if we are moving forwards, then use tile backer boards. ie schluter kerdi board - wedi - marmox - dukka etc
if we are going backwards, then use plasterboard or cement backer boards.
i know cost is a big consideration but ''if you can'' get into the habit of useing these boards and educating your customers/clients as to their benefits, then you will make life easier, safer and more eco friendly which is what the whole construction industry and the world is banging on about.
