Edwardian floor ideas wanted please.

I would say late Victorian, as TJ says. Herbert Minton is most well known for using a medieval method of making encaustic tiles, using different coloured clays to make up the pattern. Minton were the most popular of these types.

That's great Phil, when I lifted that tile out I could have sworn it was made of wood.
Strange feel to it.

I'm a little in awe of those. How long do they take to do and how do you go about pricing that type of work? Each job is so individual it must be a pain to guestimate!
