Just had to remove the hardest set of tiles ever. Came off in small pieces taking the 'granite like' plaster down to the brick at times.

Needless to say I'm in the market for a good breaker/chisel thats light enough to push round bathroom walls but still pack a punch. Any recommendations gratefully accepted.

I purchase a milwaukee kango last year, awsome piece of kit with the 3" tile removal blade attached !!! but a bit heavy for walls unfortunately, floors it lifts for breakfast, even humps in floors, lol.

I have the Milwauke aswell, I had it on special offer for £95, only thing was it was 110v, so had to buy a transformer. Still worked out a lot cheaper than similiar Bosch, Dewalt, Makita's etc 240v. First job I used it on, took a 12m2 floor up in about 1.5hrs, with all adhesive residue. I had told customer I could be all day and the floor may need levelling, She was well pleased when I was tiling by lunchtime. Had given day rate for tile removal.

if it's a plasterboard wall I find my eswing hammer does the trick, can't knock tiles off without wrecking the boards, assuming they've been fixed right with powdered addy. On floors I use my bosch sds hammer drill with a sds chisel:thumbsup:

I'm on estwing number 5, if I have one more stolen I going to go on a killing spree
