Expert Help Needed

sound like the shower tray might have settled causeing the Silicon seal to fail cutting out the damp and renewing was a good idea but tanking would have been advisable and if the tiles are ceramic or porcelane they do not require sealing (depending on type) give us some piccys and well take a look and give more advice:coffee: no sugar thx

i tank all shower areas where a power shower is used as in your case there is no such thing as cement based waterproof grout only water resistent which basically means it absorbs water but will not turn into mush when wet the only solution would be /1 to remove the tiles tank the walls and replace tiles or 2/ rake out existing grout (possible damage to surrounding tiles) and regrout with epoxy grout which is waterproof
i would go with option 1

Ok - Loss Adjuster has authorised me to get the work carried out by a qualified tiler.

Anybody know of any in the Hitchin Area of Hertfordshire, can't find any anywhere.
