Exposed edges of tiles slightly visible after grouting

After grouting, the tiler that tiled my bathroom left the edges of some tiles slightly exposed (adjacent to the glazed surface), including in the area of the shower/bath. (To be fair, this was probably due to some areas of the wall being uneven.) What I would like to know is: could water penetrate the tiles to an extent that could be damaging?

Regardless of the condition of your wall and floors, your tiler should have finished the job lip free. Do you have any pics to help us with your question....?

Pics would be useful.It shouldn't matter that the walls are uneven, it's the tiler's job to get the finished wall flat.

as stewart says. and if the walls were bad the 'tiler' should have sorted them prior to tiling. you shouldn't have edges exposed

I agree, it's the tile at fault not the tiler.

The only real solution I have found in this situation is to get a fuller grout joint to cover the biscuit showing, only problem in your situation is that you will need to cut the grout back first as it has already set.
