Visit KBB 2008 ( expotile )
The highlight of the kitchen and bathroom industry calendar, KBB incorporating Expotile 2008 is your optimum chance to see the evolution of the kitchen, bedroom and bathroom, presenting a stunning spectrum of furniture, worktops, showers, sanitaryware, sinks, accessories and tiles.
Relocated to a new dateline in order to expand the event to its largest yet, from the 2-5 March the NEC will house this stunning seven-hall event, providing the ultimate experience for buyers to source for the season ahead. The launch of HPE, the new Heating and Plumbing Event which will sit alongside KBB, will offer a natural progression into the functional and technical back end products such as boilers, pumps and components – an ideal diversification for the success story of KBB.
A launchpad for new design and vision, global brands use this platform to showcase their ranges to the marketplace, an audience of retailers, developers, designers, architects, builders merchants, specifiers and contract buyers. As the increasing trend for contemporary design and bespoke interiors comes to the forefront, the event offers both unique and exclusive collections, alongside more classic designs that will always be prevalent in this industry.
Your visit…
From the outset, your visit to KBB, Expotile and HPE will be a visionary experience. Walking through uniquely designed entrances into each hall, each visitor will be met with over 300 beautifully designed stands, showcasing the latest innovations and products from across the industry. Stepping further into the halls, you will find key companies such as Poggenpohl, Rational, Alno and Charles Yorke alongside Crosswater, Laufen, Jacuzzi, RAK Ceramics, Bristan, Roca and Coram Showers whilst Hepplewhite, Birch Bedrooms and J&J Ormerod will also showcase their new ranges of bedroom furniture.
There are a plethora of places to relax and refresh within the event whatever your tastebuds demand. The Bristan bar, Ionic Stone café and the Caple café will all serve your needs, along with the wittily designed Croydex cocktail bar and the Poggenpohl Champagne bar within the luxury of the Kitchen Gallery area.
Seminars are taking place throughout KBB and HPE, programmes of informative presentations from the leading lights of the industry, educating visitors and exhibitors on topical issues causing debate in the market. These, alongside demonstration areas, will encourage professionals to interact with the showcased products.

Industry News - The sweet smell of success
A device known as Panfan that won this year’s Best New Product Award at the KBIS 2007 Bathroom and Kitchen Exhibition in Las Vegas is due to make its debut at KBB Birmingham in March.
Panfan works by eliminating odours before they can escape the toilet area.
These odours don’t just smell badly - they can also circulate some nasty germs, including Fecal Coliform, Norwalk Virus, Hepatitis A, Salmonella and Shigella among others.
The Panfan unit is placed within the flush tank and consists of a small suction fan with an activated carbon filter cartridge. Instead of allowing doors to rise and waft into the air when the toilet is in use, Panfan gently draws air into the toilet bowl. This ensures that no doors can escape into the surrounding room.
Instead, they are drawn upwards through the independent overflow pipe within the cistern. Here they pass through the activated carbon filter where the doors are totally eliminated. So the bathroom always smells fresh and cleans, and becomes a more inviting place for family members, friends, customers, patients and clients.
