I hope all my fellow tiling dad's got remembered today and those of you who have fathers remembered them too !! very underestimated men are really in this world if they do the right thing ,i had four great cards !, family are the best thing in this life IMO ,every thing i do is for my family , hope you guys are the same have a great-one

Got a hand made card, a CD that's in the post (apparently!) and a breakfast fit for a king! Not that I want to sour the mood but, it's also a day to remember those fathers no longer with us and fathers who have lost children

Had a good day myself. First one and all that.

A big breaky, a huge mug for coffee in the mornings to get the cobwebs off me, some slippers (classic eh? I used to get my old man slippers lol), and then off to visit both little'uns grandparents. Few bevvies and not long back home now to relax.

Hope you've all had brilliant days yourselves too.

I had 2 cards, Very nice. Kids stayed over last night and this morning I dropped my son off at work ( his 1st job, working for next to no money but wants the experience). then me and daughter went clothes shopping....for me and my holiday clothes. Had a snack out and then home where I cooked lunch and I got a slab of beer for a prezzie...Good weekend.

Why do I always get a card about farting/wind problems. Oh well, the thought was there I spose :smilewinkgrin:

Oh, I did get taken out to a go-kart track yesterday by my lad.........who laughed his sox off when i collected the most Warnings from the marshalls. rrr:

Got my first card yesterday not to sure how she got him to write it he's still in the oven not ready till a week on thursday but i hope timer goes off in next few days:smilewinkgrin:

Got cards a good bottle of whiskey and took out for lunch great day

No1 daughter:- three bags of different flour and a small recipe book so I can try different breads - i make my own + requests from daughters.

No2 daughter:- A promise of the latest Jack Reacher book when it comes out in paperback in August.

No3 daughter:- the best kind of gift voucher, the one with the queens head on that you can spend anywhere.

Cheeky/rude cards from each.

Cooked lunch for No1 & 3 + with partners/husbands/children. 8 round the table. Menu:- chicken & lamb {some don't like lamb and they claim to be Welsh}, swede, carrots, runner beans, peas, baked suet pud & yorkshires plus by special request for large one for youngest grandaughter to put her dinner in and macoroni cheese for the other grandaughter who won't eat a roast except for the suet pud.

Finally finished the washing up this morning and I thought its was Fathers Day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
