Fein or Bosch multi tool

Had to leave my Bosch GOP250 in again on Friday after it quit for the second time since September '11. First time it burnt itself out and this time it just stopped.

Bit annoying, Bosch won't replace the complete unit but they'll happily change every part on the machine for the length of the warranty. Luckily it's 3 years. The fella in the tool shop was telling me that the newest 300 watt version GOP300 is an absolute disaster, nothing but problems.

So the moral of the story is, spend the extra £20 and get the Fein. Interestingly, he was saying that Worx have a new one out which is worrying Fein.

Not sure, the tool shop does a green Worx Professional range so would imagine it's the green one. No idea about quality but you'd blush pulling a Worx tool out of your van on a building site. :lol:

Lol yeh , stick with my Fein for deffo , brilliant bit of kit. Used it yesterday to help the neighbours , he'd tried drilling perspex and cracked it so I voluntered to take off 100mm with my multimaster , came off a treat on a low speed ,truly a multi tool .Then drilled 4 holes in it with an 8mm tile drill bit spade thingy , sweet.

Ive just got an Einhell multitool. Works fine for me and was £57 on Ebay....Jobs a good 'un
